Stepnote is pleased to have received more than 200 applications from teachers in the first two months in the United Kingdom, so we have decided to keep the teacher registration free for a little longer. A well known company wrote to their members about us, and unfortinately the company misunderstood our contract and how our term's and conditions work. So we have decided to make it simple to understand and clarify a few points. 1. Our contract is non-binding and teachers can pause their accounts at anytime i.e. when gigging or taking courses or holidays. 2. The price for recieving a student is only £10.00, however the first lesson is charged for by the teacher which means that the amount is recovered with first lesson. 3. If a teacher isn't matched to a student within 12 months from signing up - the annual membership fee is refunded. This is part of our no gain no pay policy. Stepnote's system is fair and is using only 1-1 matching so that when a teacher is requested it's only one match and not a match to several teacher for the same student. Happy new year Stepnote.co.uk
